Two people, two tog ratings, one duvet - sleep beautifully together.

An anti-allergy Partner Duvet with two Tog ratings, perfect for couples with different duvet preferences.  Partner duvets are also known as split-tog duvets or his-n-her duvets.

Each side of the duvet is filled with Dacron Comforel Allerban Cluster Fibres - but one side is warmer than the other.

Dacron Comforel is a cut above regular hollow fibres. What makes a good quality hollow fibre? The size of the chamber inside each fibre dictates how soft it is, as well as how good are its insulation properties.

Firstly Comforel is manufactured with the highest of internal voids. Secondly, Comforel is not left as a 'straight' hollow fibre - each fibre is curled into a ball with other fibres which results in a soft but springy filling with excellent recovery / re-lofting.

When you add the Allerban treatment to the Comforel fibres you get a great, soft, cosy duvet which actively helps combat dust mites. For more information on the effectiveness of Allerban please see our Anti Allergy Bedding page. Each side of the duvet is filled to a Tog rating of your choice so one side is warmer than the other.

Choosing your perfect Anti-allergy Partner Duvet is as easy as 1,2,3 - just select the following:

  1. The required size of the duvet
  2. The warmth (Tog) rating of the warmer side
  3. The warmth (Tog) rating of the cooler side

The pricing of our partner duvets is based upon the size plus the Tog rating of the highest side (e.g. a King Size with 13.5 Tog on one side and 4.5 Tog on the other will cost the same as one with 13.5 Tog and 9.0 Tog).

Duvet Construction
All our Allerban anti allergenic duvets have a 300 thread-count 100% cotton casing built using Box Wall Construction and have a high-quality finish with Piped edging.

High Thread Count
The density of the duvet casing material affects the feel of the product and also its ability to stop the contents leaking out. This ‘density’ is known as the “Thread Count”, which means how closely woven the threads are in the material. Our anti-allergy duvets have a high thread count of 300 - giving them a more luxurious feel, as well as making them quieter.

Box Wall Construction
Each ‘compartment’ of a duvet has a small wall between its upper and lower surface, to allow the filling to be distributed evenly throughout the cell. But cheaper duvets (in both senses of the word) have the upper and lower surfaces sewn directly onto each other. Thus the filling is unable to reach the edges of these cells, resulting in cold spots where the filling is not as thick – or even missing altogether. All duvets supplied by All Tog Duvets have the Box Wall construction.

Piped Edging
Having piped edging on your pillows and duvets makes the item look smarter and also provides reassurance that the seams are strongly made and unlikely to come apart.
